Using per-project audio folders

For ease of backing up your audio files in a project, SONAR allows you to use a separate audio folder for each project. This feature is off by default.

To enable per-project audio

1.

Go to Edit > Preferences > File - Audio Data.

2.

Select the Use Per-Project Audio Folders check box and click OK.

Note: If you use the default project that is created when you open SONAR, you are not using per-project audio. You must use the Copy All Audio with Project option in the Save As dialog box to create a per-project audio folder. For more information, see To save an existing project using per-project audio.

Note - Using Offline Help

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.

If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
